Personnal Project

We started this project in may 2016 under the direction of
Bruno Belamich (Creative director and co founder of Bell&Ross)
and Sebastien Gobert (Designer at Bell&Ross) who wanted to
create a new supercar for Bell&Ross, inspired by the Aeronautic
world, in order to promote a new range of watches.
We were a team of 7 students:
Bell&ross aero gt
School Project.
- Adrien Séné: Tranport designer (5th year)
- Valentin Fuch: transport designer (5th year)
- Patrice Minol: transport designer (5th year)
- Célia Huart: Transport designer (3rd year)
- François Carpentier: Transport designer (3rd year)
- Eric Guiertzman: Digital Designer (5th year)
- Julien Debras: Digital designer (3rd year)
I was in charge of the interior modeling.

I did this modeling taking into reference sketchs produced by Adriens Séné
and François Carpentier, I’ve had rapidly a clear and precise idea of what
they wanted for the interior and the technical part of the vehicle, I could start
quickly, improve the details and the sulfide as the overall design
progressed.

Instead of extend my technical skills, I decided to realize this modeling using
Autodesk Maya, this allowed me to discover how to work in polygonal
modeling, and enrich my skills before my internship entrance at
Toyota Europe Design Development studio (ED²).
Eric guiertzman quickly did an external volume on Autodesk Maya with a «belt» to define
me a work area of a way that the exterior modeling (Alias modeling) and
interior (Maya modeling) match.
Because of the time (student project: 2 weeks of modeling) we decided to make some
renderings on Vred, and then add post production on Photoshop.

In order to improve this renderings, I have had to create some materials which are
not optimal in Vred base material library like Alcantara and red belt material.
Alcantara
Reflective plastic
Chrome
Carbon
Red belt
Nylon
Lamborghini Huracan
Personnal Project.
I’ve done this project during summer 2015 in order to apply
and improve what I’ve learned at school the previous year.
It was my first car modeling, so I decided to made the
Lamborghini Huracan because of its formal language which I
really like.

Because this modeling was my first one, I need to work on it
during pretty long time in order to improve the model days after
days, I’ve had to rebuild some surface, but my objective was to
obtain a great final volume, true to the original one.
Use of Autodesk Alias Shaders to improve the 3D model visualisation.
Internship Project.
I’ve done this project during summer 2015 to show my
competences learned during my internship at Toyota ED², it
required the use of Alias, Zbrush and Grasshopper.

During my internship, I’ve had the opportunity to made a personnal project to
show what I’ve learned on 3D modeling on different softwares (Nurbs and
Polygonal).
I imagine a single seater vehicle, this because actually, lot of peaple use their
car just for theirself and the most of the time they are alone on board, so I
imagine a vehicule which could be smart for drive into complexe city, this to
simplify the way to drive.
I give a description of my project to Julien Marie (Designer at Toyota) who help
me to define an exterior design.

I’ve searched the overall volume in Autodesk Maya, It also make
me able to create an animation of the unfolding movement in order
to enhance the vehicle credibility.
Then, I moved on Autodesk Alias to improve the design
and the model quality.

Grasshopper-Rhino Plugin
In order to improve the model and expose
what I’ve learned, I combine some competences
in the project like using Autodesk
Alias, Pixologic Zbrush, Grasshopper for
Rhino and Autodesk Vred.
Renault Megane RS 2010
Volume interpretation.
For this exercise we were asked to choose a French
car produced between 2008/2016, we’ve had to
made the model taking into account constraints and
qualities approaching the Class-A modeling.

I began by searching for references of the selected model, this to
understand the volume, its stance, its complex points and also its details.
Moreover, it was a key stage because we were looking for orthonormal
references as closest to reality as possible, ideally without any perspective.

This project was done by a design student team about new
vision of Citroën utilitary vehicle for young and dynamic peaple.
We were a team of 6 students:
citroen new-experience
School Project.
- Charly Poidevin: Transport designer (4th year)
- François Carpentier: Transport designer (4th year)
- Simon Delannoy: Transport designer (3rd year)
- Pascal Amar: Transport designer (3rd year)
- Amaury Petiprez: Transport designer (3rd year)
- Me: Digital designer (4th year)
My work was to modeling the exterior volume and supervise
the render process.

Merge
exterior & interior modeling
in one vred file
I made the exterior modeling on Autodesk
Alias, I made it in one and half week, by working
with the exterior designer Charly Poidevin.
The interior model had been modeled on
Autodesk Maya by François Carpentier and
the exterior on Autodesk Alias. To be more
efficient, we decided to made two
different Vred files which had been merge
at the end, this help us to improve the color
& trim development.
The both scenes had been merge in one
last scene later in order to obtain a
complete vehicle.

Porsche Macan coupe
Personnal Project.
This is a personnal realized during summer 2016 with Tobias
Benedini, transport design student at Pzorheim University.

A common project of Tobias Benedini (Student at Pforzheim University, Germany, for the design) And me.
Our objective was to imagine a Macan SUV Coupe.
Tobias gave me some sketches and involved the model to transmit at best the DNA of the porsche Mission-E
Concept, the main idea of this project.
We did it from a distance during summer 2016.

Throughout the 3D development, I regularly sent my modeling to Tobias,
who modified and made evolve the design directly on 3D to help me as much
as possible to get what he imagined.
It was a difficult exercise because we had to work at a distance (Pfozheim, Germany
- Lyon, France)

ALIAS SCREENSHOT.
All the modeling had been made in Autodesk Alias, the main
objective was to obtain a coherent volume with a strong stance.

We also stay focused on the fact to have a Mission-E concept DNA
on the exterior design.
Peugeot Flagship 2030
School Project/Workshop.
This is a W.I.P of a workshop in collaboration with
Peugeot design studio from Paris.
I work with one transport designer: Grimaud Gervex (5th year).

This is a workshop project, which employed all the transportation design student in their last year of studies. Peugeot design team
gave them the subject «Create a Peugeot Flagship for the year 2030».
In a first time, during two weeks, each designers realized a personnal project which answered to the topic until friday 30th of
September, then, each digital design student had to choose one project selected, and start to made a first volume for the week from 10
to 14 of September, where we were working with a part of the Peugeot 3D team composed of Yann Le Gall (Head of Digital Design at
Peugeot Design) and Geoffroy Texier (Digital designer).
I decided to work on the project of Grimaud Gervex because of the complexity of the project which looks very strong and powerful.
Then, it still us less than one month to work on our free time to improve the modeling and the design before presentation at Peugeot
Design Studio at Vélizy-Villacoublay.

01
02
For Monday 10th of September, Yann Le Gall ask us to prepare one first volume, volume that we will
change throughout the week until Friday 14th.
As always when we work with proffessional, it was interesting to see and apply a new way of working in
comparison to that we are taught at school or in our respective previous intersnhip.
