Foto Eyeland celebrates 15years of service to Samoa<br />

Tuimatafele Fritz Tuiavii-Savaiinaea owner<br />

and founder of Foto Eyeland began<br />

in Savaii at the Bluebird Mall Salelologa<br />

on 23rd June 2001<br />

As a professional photographer, FRITZ completed<br />

a 4 year of training course at Auckland<br />

Institute of Technology and Auckland<br />

University of Technology where graduated<br />

with Diploma in photographic technology. He<br />

then started Fritzs Outdoor Photography and<br />

Things in 1989 in Auckland. He moved to Samoa<br />

and set up business in Savaii because<br />

he saw a need for a photographic lab in<br />

Savaii and catering for Salafai community..<br />

and passport photos. They also provide<br />

framing and laminating, restoration of<br />

Now 15 years later Fritz has now opened a<br />

new branch at the Fugalei market in addition<br />

to the Salelologa Market outlet.<br />

On the sporting scene, Fritz is also a passionate<br />

Rugby League enthusiast and is the<br />

Secretary General for Rugby League Samoa.<br />

This year also marks 30 years of the game<br />

in Samoa and will be celebrated on 8th of<br />

October 2016 at APIA park stadium with the<br />

Toa Samoa playing Fiji Bati for an Historical<br />

Rugby League test match. Fritz is from the<br />

villages of Apia, Sataoa and Salailua.<br />

Le Miss Fa’afafine Australasia Queen is an<br />

initiative by the ‘Association Of Fa’afafine<br />

In Australia’ / ‘Asosi O Fa’afafine I Ausetalia,’<br />

(AOFIA), formed by a small group of<br />

Fa’afafine and supporters here in Sydney<br />

Australia. The Pageant hosted and run under<br />

the La’u Samoa Council umbrella.<br />

The following candidates are the newly<br />

elected AOFIA committee members by the<br />

‘La’u Samoa Council Inc.’ executive committee:<br />

society and the whole world without discrimination<br />

and prejudice.<br />

This year’s pageant is open to all nationalities<br />

within Australia - as through sharing<br />

our culture, we can stand together in<br />

peace with pride. Our pageant ‘Theme’<br />

for this year is: ‘Queen of Hope.’<br />

Therefore, the following committee members<br />

for Le Miss Fa’afafine Australasia<br />

Queen 2016 will be the only ones who can<br />

relay and answer any questions that you<br />

may have. Our AOFIA team consists of both<br />

Fa’afafines and supporters of Fa’afafines<br />

rights.
