This luxury chess game has been flawlessly hand-crafted by F1 mechanics<br />
themselves! A labour of love, this is a limited edition, beautiful set to own,<br />
play and display.<br />
Every chess piece formerly played its strategic role within the workings of<br />
the World Championship winning Renault F1 Team cars and Lotus F1 Team<br />
cars. Retired from the race, the components have been hand-polished, lacquered,<br />
and felted underneath for the ultimate play experience.<br />
One set of F1 chess pieces has been professionally lacquered in black nickel,<br />
and the other has been clear lacquered.<br />

The weighty chess board has been handcrafted<br />
from solid, carbon fibre hard pads and<br />
titanium squares; the same grade of these<br />
materials as used in F1 cars. It has been<br />
lacquered and polished 10 times, for the<br />
