Located throughout the village of Lakefield ...,.<br />
The scenic trail network encompasses both the natural setting and<br />
heritage of the Village. You may enter or leave the trail system from<br />
several access points. Covering over 8.5 km, the trail is ideal for<br />
walking or cycling. There are benches and shade shelters located<br />
along the Trail that provide a comfortable<br />
resting spot. The Lakefield Trail Committee<br />
offers a variety of programs to contribute to<br />
the trail, including the friends program, tree<br />
program and bench program. If you would<br />
like to donate to the trail, plant a tree or<br />
purchase a memorial bench please contact<br />
the Township office at 705-292-9507<br />

The trail is approximately 2.3 km long and runs from Brumwell Street<br />
to 5th Line. The trail is<br />
lined with native trees<br />
and boasts a peaceful<br />
and tranquil setting<br />
amidst the Miller Creek<br />
Wetlands. There are<br />
benches located along<br />
the trail that provide a<br />
comfortable resting<br />
spot. The trail heads<br />
feature parking and a<br />
large trail map<br />
identifying local points<br />
of interest.<br />

viewing platform, and an<br />
interior picnic area with<br />
