CLAYTON PEAK HIKE<br />

Nine people, Jim (an organizer), Tom,<br />
Steve, Greg, Sue, Carol, Leslie,<br />
Muhammad, and Akiko, hiked to Clayton<br />
Peak from Brighton on Nov 6. We<br />
encountered only patchy snow along the<br />
way. <strong>The</strong> highlight <strong>of</strong> the day was a golden<br />
eagle perched on the top o f a sharp<br />
rock. <strong>The</strong> hike took 3 hours 45 minutes<br />
(distance – 5.86 miles, elevation gain –<br />
2,292 ft).<br />
