This is not a Flower

DARTFORD FC
This logo to the left was the most complicated one,
and required special focus and practice to keep
each line perfect. What helped me with this one
was that I zoomed in at 800% on the original image
and started from the outside and worked my way
in. It took me at least 6 hours to complete this.
This logo was created when we were given the assignment
of creating at least ten famous logos. We
were told if we wanted to do something a bit more
challenging but to also accept the risks and consequences
that came with doing complex logos, was
to by all means do it at our own risk. Which was
a great opportunity to broaden our horizon a bit
more and see what was in store.
I found this logo by looking up England Football
(Soccer in U.S.) logos, and this one caught my eye. I
really liked the way it looked, and judging by all the
lines you see, it was a perfect example to do with
the challenging aspects of the project.
How did you make it?
I made it in Adobe Illustrator. I used the Pen tool and the Curvature tool to create the lines and
imagery inside the logo.
What inspired you to make it?
What inspired me to make was the fact that it was an assignment
where we could choose any type of logo and re-create, I chose this
logo because my boyfriend is from England, and I wanted to make
something that shows off his English side.
