"Jesus in the confessional is not a dry cleaner: it is an
encounter with Jesus, who waits for us just as we are. Is going
to confession like a torture session? No! It is going to praise
God, because I, a sinner, have been saved by Him. And is He
waiting to beat me? No, he waits with tenderness to forgive
me. And if tomorrow I do the same? Go again, and go and go
and go. He always waits for us.” - Pope Francis. Our Advent Day of
Confessions will be held on Friday, December 16 th .
Confessions will be heard from 9:30AM to 12:00PM and then
LIGHT UP FOR CHRIST
In a time when all things religious
are being discouraged and swept
away, it’s refreshing to know that
the Knights of Columbus established
the “Keep Christ in Christmas”
campaign to remind people that
Christmas is above all a Holy Day
celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Please join us on Tuesday -
December 6, 2016 @ 8.00 PM in the foyer of the Church for
the lighting ceremony and at precisely 8 p.m., local time when
we would throw the switch to “Light Up For Christ.” This is the
first year we start a great tradition and help spread the joyful
tidings of Christmas.
