Norway Yearbook - 1987

Preface
The Statistical Yearbook of Norway 1987 contains figures for recent years from various
fields of Norwegian official statistics. The figures make up 565 tables and give information
on subjects like environment, population, social conditions, industrial life and economy.
This yearbook presents 15 new tables, while 20 of last year's edition have been omitted.
The change is done to give room to new figures about health, social, wages and industrial
conditions.
The tables have been arranged according to the new standard classification by subject
matters introduced by the Bureau in 1986.
The Information Department of the Bureau is the editor of the yearbook.
