TOURNAMENT RESULTS
2013’s Great Plains Open was held on
October 12, in Lincoln, and drew 22
players. Some great performance ratings
were achieved by serveral players,
including co-winners Tony Dutiel (2227),
Joseph Wan (2149) and Ben Fabrikant
(2106). The last round was very tense
as the three co-winners were all tied at
3/4, along with the solid class-A player
Jerry Slominski. Fabrikant defeated
Slominski, while Dutiel beat class-A
player Fitzpatrick, and Wan took down
class-A player John Linscott. An exciting
finish to a very strong event.
