25. The Holy Spirit Loves Singing. "...come before His<br />
presence with singing" (Psalm 100:2b). The Apostle<br />
Paul unders<strong>to</strong>od this, "...I will sing with the Spirit,<br />
and I will sing with the understanding also" (1<br />
Corinthians 14:15b).<br />
Old Testament leaders unders<strong>to</strong>od the power of<br />
singing. "And it came <strong>to</strong> pass, when the evil spirit from<br />
God was upon Saul, that David <strong>to</strong>ok an harp, and played<br />
with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and<br />
the evil spirit departed from him" (1 Samuel 16:23).<br />
26. The Holy Spirit Often Uses Singing As a Weapon<br />
During Seasons Of Battle And Warfare. "And when<br />
they began <strong>to</strong> sing and <strong>to</strong> praise, the Lord set<br />
ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab,<br />
and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and<br />
they were smitten" (2 Chronicles 20:22). Sing songs<br />
of remembrance, vic<strong>to</strong>ry, and anticipation of God's<br />
intervention in your life. Teach your children <strong>to</strong> sing<br />
knowing singing is a secret weapon during times of<br />
crisis.<br />
27. The Holy Spirit Often Withdraws When He Is<br />
Offended By Our Conversation And Conduct. "Let no<br />
corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,<br />
but that which is good <strong>to</strong> the use of edifying, that it<br />
may minister grace un<strong>to</strong> the hearers. And grieve not<br />
the Holy Spirit of God,... Let all bitterness, and<br />
wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be<br />
