He shivered. This was a mistake.<br />
No, it could not be. At least not one of his own making. How would that be possible? He<br />
was practically a god, one of the Thirteen…He played back the moments prior: he had<br />
the most vile Decepticons at his command, a galaxy at his mercy, and his hands were<br />
all but clasped on unlimited power… But then there it was, the one thing that could stop<br />
him.<br />
He shivered again.<br />
Broken, defeated, he found a fold, a seam in reality at the same moment the spear had<br />
torn through his skull and ripped through the workings underneath. It was a desperate<br />
escape… or as close to desperate as he had ever become. In his haste and weakened<br />
state, he had made a… Miscalculation. He had passed through the fold and tumbled far<br />
farther than he had ever intended. He was farther from the core than he had ever traveled.<br />
He could feel the essence of energy and existence changing around him. Polarities darted<br />
and twitched. It tickled.<br />
Static filled every sensation. His ultimate destination screamed into realization.<br />
His whole being shivered.<br />

Sephie Beller’s voice echoed down from the rooftop above the New Energy Resource<br />
Research and Development Laboratory campus.<br />
Emulator, she mentally corrected herself. If she was going to make this whole superhero<br />
thing work, she had to start thinking of herself as one. She had certainly given enough of<br />

wires snaking out at one end from where they had cut it from the wall. Even with her<br />
background as the ingenious Dr. Arkeville’s student teacher, she had no idea what the<br />

Her blue and gold costume shimmered and glistened. Costume. That’s what it appeared<br />
to be to anyone who catch a glimpse of her in action. However the metal plating could<br />
now be considered part of her own body after the deal that she had worked out with the<br />
