About Us 

TATIUC was formerly known as 

Terengganu Advanced Technical Institute 

(TATI) and was inaugurated in 11 November 

1993. TATI University College (TATIUC) was 

one of the earliest Malaysia’s technical 

institutions, that has been established with 

the purpose to be an industrial based 

university producing highly-skilled and 

ethical technocrats and professionals with 

up-to-date technologies. TATIUC was 

awarded with Tier-4 “Very Good University” 

by the Ministry of Higher Education 

Malaysia in 2011 and 2013. From its 

humble beginnings to its rise into a 

trademark of excellence, TATIUC has been 

continually broadening its developmental 

horizons to stay in line with times. 

TATIUC offers a range from 

Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor and 

Master’s level courses that involves in 9 

niche areas such as Tooling Engineering, 

CAD/CAM, Mechatronics, Mechanical 

Engineering, Chemical & Polymer 

Engineering, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), 

Operation Management, Robotics and 

Computer Networking. These courses are 

designed with the objectives to produce 

highly skilled human capital based on the 

latest technology, to produce creative and 

innovative individuals, to inculcate lifelong 

learning and to imbibe sustainable 

development.
