This month’s Statement of Communications & Management Philosophy is from Daryl Whicheloe, CCE,
Southern Oregon Food & Beverage:
“Southern Oregon Food and Beverage is a food concession company
dedicated to providing great food at reasonable prices.We strive to give
the fairgoer an experience that is always enjoyable and positive. The
food concession business and the entire Fair industry cannot survive
without communication and team work. This is accomplished by the
Fairs individual departments such as managers, office staff, maintenance,
and volunteers along with organizations such as WFA and NICA and
many more that produce these fairs. It is crucial that we, as a group, all
work together to provide fairgoers with positive experiences that will
encourage them to return to year after year. That is why, as a business,
Southern Food and Beverage owners and staff can always be found trying
to help office staff, maintenance crews, other vendors and the fairgoer
in any way possible. As an owner I take a lot of pride in my business and
this industry, so it is a lifelong effort to keep improving the quality and
standards in both my own business and also of those around us. As long
