Brian
Lowery
Artist
My birth name is “Brian Kendall James Lowery”, therefore my identification
is “Brian Lowery”, however, my name is “Brian Kendall James” and I am an artist. I
have a natural talent for rendering a visual image and creative thinking. My love for
drawing showed as a toddler and began to evolve after my studies in graphic design
at Davidson Fine Arts high school. I continued my artistic education at the Savannah
College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally, a Graphic Design major,
my raw interest was refined over the years of visual design strategy and typography
courses. By my Junior year, I began to diversify my creative breadth and conceptual
thinking by studying photography and becoming a Printmaking major. Today, as a
SCAD graduate the joy of visual storytelling fuels my ambition to develop my identity
as an entrepreneurial modern artist.
I am excited by kinetic energy. My main sources of entertainment are Adventure
Time, dancing in a soul train line, and roller coasters. Allowing momentum and
interest to move my vision, body, or direction are inspired moments. This physical
experience of motion and rhythm translate to my favorite principles in any form of
visual art and when done well allow me to experience the same sensations. These
principles are my foundational tools to design visual information in identity and
branding, editorial and publication, and website design. From ideation to execution, I
am a joyful extrovert with an affinity for problem-solving and collaboration ready to
reach any goal set.
Sincerely,
Brian Lowery
