Fiberglass reinforcing mesh with extremely high tensile strength and a tremendous
reinforcing effect when used with UZIN primers and leveling compounds.
Suitable for/on:
• Old substrates with bonded leveling compound and adhesive layers

backer board, stone and ceramic

UZIN RR 203
Substrate Crack Bridging Material
Wherever there is direct physical contact between the floor and
wall, sound from the floor can pass to other parts of the building
structure. As these waves enter into rigid surfaces such as
walls or ceilings, the surfaces effectively act as loud speakers,
projecting and transporting the sound throughout the building.
UZIN Foam Expansion Strips are used to create a mechanical
separation between floor and wall, which helps to greatly
reduce this acoustic bridging effect.
Fiberglass crack reinforcement panels used for bridging substrate cracks and joints up to
1/4" wide and with 3/16" maximum movement.
Suitable for/on:
• Control joints and trenches in concrete
• Joints in plywood and between different substrate types
• Wood plank substrates and OSB
• Existing substrates subject to slight vibration
• Use with UZIN patching, smoothing compounds and epoxy MVR’s
