California Collection - Braille Institute of America

FOREWORD
In the effort to meet our patron’s needs, we have updated this
catalog of California Collection books which comprises
additional local interest books proven very popular.
These high-quality reading materials include works by
California authors, concerning local issues, and inspired in a
California setting. Each book was screened by a group of
library staff and representatives from Braille Press and
Volunteer Recording, before adding it to the collection.
We appreciate that Information Resources Librarian Julie Uyeno
and her assistant Siran Aytayan have worked enthusiastically on
this publication so that the reader may continue to enjoy special
works concerning the golden state.
