Meet our teachers:
Mrs. Evanna Walker
Mrs. Walker has more than fifteen years of teaching experience in a variety of classroom
settings. Her interactive, earnest teaching style encourages her reading students
to develop an appreciation for literature and introduces her Heritage Studies
students to historical figures as real people. Her goal is for all of her students to read
and know God’s Word and to see His hand working in history.
Mrs. Walker teaches Beginnings with Mrs. Lawson; Grade 1 Phonics & English, Reading,
and Handwriting; Math 2; Reading 3, 5, and 6; and Heritage Studies 4 and 5.
Mrs. Sarah Lawson
Mrs. Lawson has five years of teaching experience in the classroom and has taught
Distance Learning for over ten years. She guides her students through each lesson
with warmth and patience, encouraging her students to begin a relationship with
God at a young age.
Mrs. Lawson teaches K4 Foundations; Beginnings with Mrs. Walker; Heritage Studies
and Math 1; Spelling, Handwriting, and Bible Truths 2; and Bible Truths 6.
Mr. Bill Harmon
Mr. Harmon holds a MEd in Secondary Education and has taught a variety of classes,
including science, math, and computer science, in addition to working as a chemist.
Through his active and enthusiastic teaching style, Mr. Harmon’s students learn to
connect main concepts to a larger framework so that they develop understanding
at a deeper level—but his primary goal for students is that they would grow in
Christlikeness.
Mr. Harmon teaches Science 6, Fundamentals of Math, Pre-Algebra, Physical Science,
Algebra 1, and Chemistry.
Mrs. Cynthia Bullock
Mrs. Bullock has thirteen years of classroom teaching experience, and she seeks to
inspire her students to be curious about history. She wants them to ask good questions
and know how to find right answers.
Mrs. Bullock teaches Heritage Studies 6, World Studies, and Cultural Geography.
