4 Notice from RCMP RCMP are reminding homeowners, motorists and pedestrians to be extra vigilant during their travels during the 70 Mile Yard Sale. During the sale, there is a considerable increase in traffic on our roads and there are many vehicles parking alongside the road at the various stops along the way. Motorists are reminded to be extra cautious anytime there are vehicles parked along the road as there will be many pedestrians on or near the roadsides during the sale. Please take your time when parking and park safely - do not block or impede other traffic using the roadways and be extra cautious when exiting or entering with your vehicles as you arrive and leave each site. Homeowners need to be very aware of the people on their property and take steps to ensure no "unwanted guests" are able to go into their residences or outbuildings unless invited. As there is sure to be cash at each location during the sales, please take steps to ensure you secure it and avoid becoming a victim of an unwanted “shopper." The RCMP wish all shoppers safe travels and good luck finding the bargains!. Cpl. This new “Line Item” feature is designed for people who might have a special, oneof-a-kind, pricey, or large item to list, but don’t want to host a yard sale. Or they need something, but can’t possibly search all of the yard sales that weekend. Note: These items are not necessarily yard sale priced items. Line Item listers are limited to 100 characters in their text. Cost is $20 per item. Line item listings goes into the very popular 70 Mile Yard Sale Booklet which is distributed to and shared by tens of thousands very motivated shoppers.
