We wanted to know where the information that was provided at diagnosis was too much,
the right amount, or not enough. For those diagnosed in the last 12 months, 45% felt that
the amount of information received was the correct amount, and 10% and 45% felt that they
were given too much or too little information respectively. Figure 11 shows that for people
diagnosed more than 12 months ago, 77% and 23% felt that they were given too little and
too much information respectively. However we note that proportionately twice as many
people with an experience in the last 12 months are getting the right amount of information
compared to those with an experience more than 12 months ago.
