THE DAILY ENCOURAGER MARCH

Dear PreciousOne,
Do you ever nd that you have so much on your to do list that you
don t even know what to do next? The question is, is all of that
really necessary? Scripture says there is only one thing needed in
life and that is to sit at the feet of Jesus. When we sit in His
presence, we get to know Him. We hear His voice and He shows us
the way that we should go. When we don t take time for Him, that s
when we feel the cares and worries of the world.
When Martha complained to Jesus that her sister Mary had le her
to serve alone (Mary was sitting at Jesus feet and hearing His
Word), Jesus defended Mary by saying, Martha, Martha, you are
worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed,
and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away
from her. (Luke 10:41 42)
My dear friend, you will not lose out when you take time to sit down
and listen to God s Word. Even your health and well-being will be
blessed. (Proverbs 4:22) So take time today to meditate on His
Word. It will make your way prosperous (Joshua 1:8 9), and give
you divine health and good success! Someone said; The gospel
brings man to God; devotions keep him close to God.
I encourage you, look beyond the natural facts to the greater facts
of Gods Word. God is greater than your circumstances. And if you
will hold on to Him and His Word, you will enter the place of
victory in Christ that He has provided for you. Take a moment to
evaluate how you are spending your time. Tune out unnecessary
distractions and tune in to His voice. Make time for Him every
single day because that is the one thing that is needed!
