Cornilleau guarantees its tables against any manufacturing defect for a period of 

3 years. This guarantee is extended to 10 years for outdoor tables. This 10-year 

warranty applies to all the various components, with the exception being the 

wear parts (wheels, net and net posts). All our tables adhere to the European 

safety standard EN 14468. Nevertheless, in order to ensure the highest level 

of safety, Cornilleau has positioned itself a long way above this standard.

Throughout the summer 2016, the 6th edition of PING! ENGLAND gathered 

together nearly 500,000 participants, who for 2 months once again had 

the opportunity to play on over 600 Cornilleau tables spread right across 

Britain, including around a hundred in the capital itself. Ping is so British!

PING TOUR 

The Ping Tour is a truly unique promotional tour, orchestrated by the French 

Table Tennis Federation and Cornilleau. The 2016 edition, which ran from 5 

May to 25 September, encompassed 20 of France’s largest cities so as to 

enable the greatest number of people to experience all the Ping universes. 

It proved to be a roaring success with over 50,000 visitors. Roll on the 2017

The Indoor tables are equipped with a painted chipboard tabletop. The 

main benefit of this playing surface is the great value for money compared 

with the rebound quality. That said, this tabletop definitely is not for use 

outdoors as the material is not designed to cope with bad weather. Rain 

and, by extension, moisture are its worst enemies (risk of distortion and 

blistering). The sun’s rays are no exception, as they too very quickly damage 

the surface layer (risk of discolouration). The other major disadvantage 

of this so-called indoor tabletop is its fragility in the event of repeated 

impacting and/or friction (impact from a beginner’s racket for example). 

You’ve got it, we strongly recommend that you opt for so-called Outdoor 

tables, even when they are exclusively for indoor use (garage, cellar, etc.). 

Just as high performance for play, Cornilleau’s Outdoor tabletops have 

the advantage that they’re weather and shock resistant so they’re ultradurable. 

That’s why we guarantee our Outdoor tables for 10 years (ref. page

at the same time, it develops psychomotor skills, concentration

DEFINITION: «Modern» defense, namely a DEF game with frequent counter-attacks 

generally incorporating smash or topspin shots. 

MATERIAL: «long pimple-out» rubber (with sponge) on backhand, combined 

with an «inverted» rubber on forehand. The player often turns his bat. 

ADVICES: ALL+ to OFF+ «inverted» rubber, with a sponge hardness < or = 42.5°. 

Thickness of the sponge (for «inverted» rubber): from 1.6 to 1.8mm (or even 2.0mm, 

according to the level of the player). ALL to OFF- blade. 

ALL- 

DEFINITION: 

A passive game based on small pushes and blocks alternating with mid-distance defensive 

shots. Offensive shots are pretty rare. 

MATERIAL: «pimple-out» rubber (short, mid-long or long) or “antispin” on backhand, 

combined with an «inverted» rubber on forehand. The player barely turns his bat. 

ADVICES: ALL to OFF «inverted» rubber, with a sponge hardness < or = 40°. 

Thickness of the sponge (for «inverted» rubber): from 1.6 to 1.8mm. ALL to ALL+ 

blade. 

ALL 

DEFINITION: varied game, more geared around a mid-distance from the table and 

favoring ball control, placement and variations in spin. The aim is to cause your opponent 

to commit an error. 

MATERIAL: Two «inverted» rubbers. 

ADVICES: ALL+ to OFF rubber with a sponge hardness < or = 40°. Thickness of the sponge 

from 1.8 to 2.0mm. ALL to OFF- blade. 

ALL+ 

DEFINITION: varied and precise game with blocks and counter-initiatives, closer to the 

table than the ALL- and ALL games. The placement, variations in spin and rhythm are 

used in order to secure easy-scoring balls. 


ADVICES: ALL+ OFF covering rubbers (OFF+ drive according to level), with a sponge hardness 

< or = 40°. Thickness of the sponge from 1.8 to 2.0mm. ALL to OFF blade 

OFF- 

DEFINITION: 

Offensive play with variations in rhythm and spin, most often slightly mid-distance from 

the table. Basically topspin is widely used here, principally with late contact on the ball and 

some fairly high, curved trajectories. 


ADVICES: OFF/OFF+ rubbers, with a sponge hardness < or = 42.5° on both sides. Thickness 

of the sponge from 1.8 to 2.0mm. ALL+ to OFF+ blade. 

OFF 

DEFINITION: Complete offensive play, combining fast strokes close to the table and 

variations in rotation at mid-distance from the table. The topspins are varied and often 

powerful, accentuated blocks and the player especially mobile. 


ADVICES: OFF+ rubber with a sponge hardness > 40° on forehand and < or = 42.5° on 

backhand. Thickness of the sponge from 2.0mm to max. OFF- to OFF+ blade. 

OFF+ 

DEFINITION: Very offensive style where taking the initiative is the absolute priority. 

The player moves about close to the table, returning the ball very early using topspin 

smashes, loops or active blocks. The player may also move away to a mid-distance from 

the table with wide-ranging and powerful topspins. 

MATERIAL: Two «inverted» rubbers. Possible use of short «pimple-out» rubber on one of 

the two sides (common in Asia). The ball is then «punched» back on the bounce! 

ADVICES: OFF+ rubbers with a sponge hardness > 40° on both sides. Thickness of the
