or many years now, the campaign<br />
Fagainst domestic violence has been<br />
resounding globally, and that has<br />
made a lot of people muster the courage to<br />
walk away from any form of abusive<br />
relationship, most especially in cases of<br />
physical assault.<br />
Just because of what people or the society<br />
would say, a lot of men and women have<br />
lost their lives suddenly in pretence of<br />
being in a happy marriage or relationship.<br />
Realistically, would you prefer to stay alive<br />
or be pronounced dead in a second, or<br />
walk away?<br />
In our <strong>March</strong> edition, Media Room Hub<br />
had an exclusive interview with delectable,<br />
and one of Nollywood's nest, Tonto<br />
Dikeh, where she extensively addresses<br />
the issue on her domestic violence in<br />
marriage.<br />
Talking fashion, during my trip with Ejiro<br />
Amos Tafiri to Holland for the Vliscos' 70th<br />
anniversary party, I remember<br />
telling her that I loved her black<br />
and white striped agbada and<br />
pants, she quickly corrected me<br />
and said it was called the 'Nadine<br />
Danshiki'. ShopMaju and David<br />
Kalu also had fun designing with<br />
the same fabrics, don't all the<br />
wearers of this fabric look stylishly<br />
cool? I call them the ' Zebra<br />
Crossers'.<br />
Distressed or ripped denim is<br />
strongly attractive in the fashion<br />
circuit, it can be worn differently in<br />
ways that suit one’s style. And<br />
these pretty ladies sure know how<br />
to swing a fashion statement<br />
around, so check out ‘Jean the<br />
ripper’ ladies, then rock yours like<br />
they did.<br />
Jennifer Oseh is one young<br />
woman whose bohemian style I<br />
admire, her conspicuous love for<br />
Ankara prints and her poise has a<br />
magnetic appeal. She told <strong>MRH</strong><br />
everything fashion and that<br />
Ankara defines her style.<br />
And I remember that Her Imperial Majesty, Olori<br />
Wuraola Ogunwusi held a charity 'Give Back<br />
Concert' to raise funds for the building of orphanage<br />
homes in Nigeria and as usual PayPorte was one of<br />
its biggest supporters. Bless your, dear queen.<br />
Interestingly too, one of the biggest events that<br />
reward and celebrate the African movie industry, the<br />
Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards(AMVCA)<strong>2017</strong><br />
was held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos where the<br />
stars dazzled with their various fashionable outfits<br />
