Class Ambassador: Laura Wallitsch Durbin<br />
Jenny Mudd attends Brown Mackie College<br />
in the veterinary technician program. Jenny’s<br />
ultimate goal is to be a vet tech at the<br />
Louisville Zoo. She is in a serious relationship<br />
and hopes to be engaged in the future. Jenny is<br />
really happy and feels very blessed!<br />
Kelly Javins has been with the Red Cross for<br />
almost six years. She is engaged to marry<br />
Brandon Floyd on May 15, 2010. Her father<br />
passed away in June 2008 in his sleep.<br />
Reyna Thomas purchased her first house<br />
in 2007. In 2008, Reyna was promoted to<br />
Broadband Customer Care Supervisor 1 for<br />
Charter Communications.<br />

Jessica Schellenberger has started her<br />
second year of law school at Chase College<br />
of Law at Northern Kentucky University.<br />
She spent the summer studying at the<br />
Irish Centre for Human Rights in Galway,<br />
Ireland, and was very fortunate to take a<br />
course taught by Chief Justice John Roberts<br />
of the U.S. Supreme Court. Jessica was<br />
recently chosen to join the Chase Client<br />
Counseling Competition Team.<br />

Stacy Atwood proudly announces the birth<br />
of her son, Nathan Scott Pierce, on March<br />
5, <strong>2009</strong>.<br />
Christina Berry is a real estate agent with<br />
Semonin. She is a first-time home buyer,<br />
new construction, and short sale specialist.<br />
Christina and her sister, Ashley Berry ’04,<br />
work together as a team and they love their<br />
job. Life is good! Ashley and Christina are<br />
also raising $5,000 for the breast cancer<br />
three-day walk. They are both living and<br />
working in Louisville.<br />

2004 continued<br />
LeeAnn Crush graduated from Western<br />
Kentucky University with a degree in dietetics.<br />
Michelle Haas is engaged to be married<br />
next spring to J.C. Hutchins from Maryland.<br />
Michelle and J.C. are both Bellarmine<br />
University graduates.<br />
Claire Smither is a research assistant<br />
for MPR where she works on education<br />
and poverty policy research. She enjoys<br />
being a twenty-something in the nation’s<br />
capital – free events at the Kennedy Center,<br />
trivia nights with friends, and a city full of<br />
young, involved workers. There are lots of<br />
adventures there.<br />
2005<br />

Lana Pohl<br />
Amy Foster, Ms. Wheelchair Kentucky <strong>2009</strong><br />
traveled to Rapid City, South Dakota, in August<br />
for Ms. Wheelchair America 2010.<br />
Annie Grantz has moved to Cincinnati,<br />
Ohio, to begin a new job as an at-risk<br />
teacher for middle school-age children.<br />
Sara Horstman graduated from Bellarmine<br />
in May <strong>2009</strong>, with two bachelor of art<br />
degrees, one in English and the other<br />
in communication. Sara will pursue her<br />
masters of arts in communication at<br />
Bellarmine in the fall.<br />
Meredith Ley graduated from WKU in<br />
May <strong>2009</strong>. She will be returning to WKU<br />
in the fall to pursue a master’s in sports<br />
administration and recreation.<br />
Brianne McClelland graduated summa cum<br />
laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Valparaiso<br />
University with a degree in English and<br />
secondary education. She will be teaching<br />
English at Scecina Memorial <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> in<br />
Indianapolis.<br />
Kelly Miller graduated from UK in May<br />
<strong>2009</strong>. She started her career with Clear<br />
Channel Radio in Louisville as an account<br />
executive.<br />
Amanda Wade Wooten and her husband,<br />
Jeremy, welcomed their daughter, Emily<br />
Elizabeth, on May 31, <strong>2009</strong>. Given the<br />
fact she was born the year after Amanda<br />
survived ovarian cancer, they believe she is<br />
their miracle baby!<br />
2006<br />
Class Ambassador: Lisa Kaminski<br />
Meagan Kilkelly will graduate from UK in<br />
May 2010 with her bachelor of arts degree<br />
in psychology. Meagan hopes to attend law<br />
school after graduation!<br />
2007<br />
Class Ambassadors: Caroline Dunlevy,<br />
Julie Laemmle<br />
Lindsay Ruzanka Age and her husband,<br />
Patrick, welcomed their first son, Conner<br />
Patrick, on January 15, <strong>2009</strong>. He weighed<br />
4 pounds. Conner is now a healthy 7 month<br />
old and weighs in at about 15 pounds!<br />
2008<br />
Class Ambassadors: Claire Elliott, Colleen<br />
McHugh<br />
Adrienne Curtis ran in one of the nation’s<br />
most elite track and field meets – the Mt.<br />
San Antonio College Relays. Her goal was<br />
to qualify for the NCAA Division II National<br />
Championship in the 10,000 meter run.<br />
She finished in 11th place.<br />
