Colonels Plain Star is a 6 (born Jan 2, 2006) year old, 14.3 hand, gelding. He is easy going and loves his job as a cutting
horse. We have owned him since he was 7 months old. He is a good trail horse, has done some Dressage training, but
his favorite thing to do is cow work. He clips (body, ears, face, everything), blankets, ties, rides with and without a bridle/
headstall, and trailers. He is in a stall for 12 hours a day and turn out on green grass for 12 hours a day. He is ridden
anywhere from 5-7 days a week. He is very smooth to ride, very comfortable. He is current on vaccinations, farrier, dental
and worming. He has never had any soundness issues or health problems. He wears shoes during show season and is

ready to move on with your hand down. This horse is “broke to death’ as they say. He is a cutting horse.

This is a big, stout, honest 12 year old quarter horse. He was started in the Howard Smithers Feedlots in the Imperial
Valley. He has primarily been a team roping horse for the past 5 years, where he has been headed and heeled on
extensively. He has been hauled to the local jackpots for the past 4 years. Most recently he has been used by a 9 year old
boy to practice roping the heel-o-matic. He has never bucked, kicked, cribbed or taken a lame step since I have owned
him. Don’t let the non registration scare you, his age can be traced back to where he was raised. He will make you an
outstanding practice horse or you can haul him to the jackpots. You can put him away for a month and he will be just as
good the next time you pull him out. He can run, face and is tough enough to handle as many steers as you want to rope.
