Singtel has three main operational<br />
units in its Tele<br />
service delivery, namely<br />
Technical helpdesk, General<br />
Enquiries, and Telesales.<br />
Since November 2009,<br />
Scicom has been entrusted<br />
with the largest portion<br />
of the Telesales unit named<br />
Consumer Sales. It covers<br />
the sales and provisioning<br />
of almost all telecommunication<br />
products and not<br />
limited to Internet service,<br />
IPTV, mobile and fixed line<br />
networks. We started with<br />
a work force of 18 Inbound<br />
staff, offering our services<br />
to Singtel customers. Over<br />
a short period our sales<br />
performance triggered an<br />
extension of our operations<br />
to outbound services which<br />
comprised of five executives.<br />
We are proud to announce<br />
that as of date our<br />
staff base has grown to 86<br />
esteemed individuals, and<br />
are the only Inbound Consumer<br />
Telesales service<br />
provider within the Singtel<br />
umbrella. Of the aforementioned<br />
86 staff, 27 caters to<br />
outbound sales services.<br />
In 2012, our outbound team<br />
excelled, securing Silver in<br />
the CCAM Awards for “Best<br />
Outbound telesales desk<br />
below 100 seats”.<br />
In recognition of the above<br />
achievement, Singtel has<br />
included Scicom operations<br />
in its yearly “Sales Kick Off<br />
event”. This event offers the<br />
premise to appreciate the<br />
efforts of the preceding financial<br />
year while sharing<br />
future sales projection for<br />
the upcoming financial year.<br />
In a sales environment, motivation<br />
plays a great role<br />
and Scicom Management<br />
embodies this motivational<br />
approach, observed<br />
from the events organized<br />
within the team.<br />
Some of these events are<br />
Birthday celebrations,<br />
Performance Recognition<br />
Awards, Festive and<br />
Charity events. In 2014,<br />
we personally organized<br />
a Scicom-Wide Charity<br />
event, to appreciate<br />
the less privileged in our<br />
community. <strong>The</strong> core essence<br />
of BPO to multi-nationals<br />
like Singtel is cost<br />
saving. Over the years,<br />
the business has seen a<br />
positive upwards trend in<br />
cost saving with the Singtel-SCICOM<br />
liaison, as<br />
cost per sale continues<br />
to positively nose-dive.<br />
