Sadie’s New Lease on Life continued from page 3
BUT LOOK AT HER NOW!
Sadie is a sweet little bundle of love who adores people and she
also gets along very well with her canine and feline foster siblings.
She does like to enjoy her food and treats away from the
pack, probably because of the deprivation she experienced for a
very long time. Initially, little Miss Sadie exhibited some separation
anxiety when she was left alone, or away from the members
of her foster family. However, she has gradually learned to trust
those around her and has become much more relaxed and confident
with her temporary family. She may be afraid that she’ll
be returned to the outdoors again, but that is certainly not
something that her foster family or anyone in MAESSR would
ever contemplate.
Sadie hasn’t found her “forever family” yet, but she’s looking
forward to spending the rest of her life with someone who
will give her the love and care to which she has become accustomed
in recent weeks. She is an affectionate little girl who
doesn’t ask for much, but thrives on attention, a warm bed, a
good meal, and companionship. We are grateful to the Good
Samaritan who put Sadie on the path to a much better life.
She’s touched the lives of many MAESSR volunteers, and we all
look forward to learning that someone’s decided to make her a
beloved family member. She deserves nothing but the best, and
that is what MAESSR will make sure that she receives.
