‘It’s no ordinary cup, it’s a magical cup. If your tears fall into this,
they will turn into pearls.’
‘Where did you get this from,’ Hassan exclaimed in shock.
‘I can’t tell you this, you just have it,’ he said.
Agha Omar said Hassan to leave, Hassan thanked him and as Hassan
left the room, Agha Sahib again called him from back.
‘One more thing to be told you is that, be careful with it and today
was your last day of work. Because I am selling this house and
moving to Karachi tomorrow and take this your last wage,’ he took
the money and thanked Agha Sahib and left the room in hurry.
He didn’t go to his home until it was night. He stayed out with the
cup, wondering its powers and secrets. He tried to bring his fake
tears but he miserably failed not a single tear would come out. He
got more and more curious and anxious about the cup.
At last he went home after buying a new pair of clothes for her wife.
It was a big surprise for her wife. She was in shock but also happier
to know that how all of a sudden he had become more caring and
loving.
‘Get ready Baigham we are going out now to eat out and have fun,’
he said to his Mariam.
Mariam changed her clothes and wore new ones. She looked
beautiful in her new dress.
‘How’s our little buddy doing in there,’ he touched Mariam’s swollen
belly and asked.
Hassan took the cup in his bag and both headed to the city.
