F) JOB FLEXIBILITY<br />
It is an express condition of employment that you are prepared, whenever necessary,<br />
to transfer to alternative departments or duties within our business. This flexibility is<br />
essential as the type and volume of work is always subject to change, and it allows us to<br />
operate efficiently and gain maximum potential from our work force.<br />
G) MOBILITY<br />
Although you are usually employed at one particular site, it is a condition of your<br />
employment that you are prepared, whenever applicable, to work at other sites as<br />
required by the needs of the business. This mobility is essential to the smooth running<br />
of our business.<br />
H) DRESS CODE<br />
The appearance and professionalism of the Company employees has an impact on<br />
how our clients and visitors view the company and its services. This makes it essential<br />
for the Company to ensure that appropriate standards are maintained by employees.<br />
We operate a relaxed dress code policy but there are some requirements which are set<br />
out in more detail in the Standards section of the <strong>Handbook</strong> on p22. Failure to comply<br />
with the dress code may be addressed in accordance with the company Disciplinary<br />
Procedures.<br />
I) FINANCIAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY (FCA)<br />
One of our group companies, Union Income Benefit Holdings Ltd is regulated by the<br />
Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the provisions of the Financial Services and<br />
Markets Act 2000. Where appropriate to the duties of your post, you are required<br />
to familiarise yourself with, and perform your duties in accordance with, the relevant<br />
Conduct Rules and Regulations and our compliance procedures relating thereto (details<br />
of which are provided separately).<br />
You must not undertake any activity regulated by the Act or by the FCA unless and to<br />
the extent to which you have been authorised by the Company in writing. If you are an<br />
Approved Person under the provisions of the Rules, you are required to immediately<br />
supply the Company with full written details of any proceedings (whether civil, criminal<br />
or regulatory) in which you may be involved in any way.<br />
Any breach of the Rules, Regulations or our Procedures in regard to the above will<br />
render you liable to disciplinary action at a level appropriate to the breach concerned<br />
