Elan Valley

Welcome
At the Elan Valley we have 72 square miles of Estate for
you to explore and discover the stunning scenery amongst
the Victorian built environment. This area is a haven for
wildlife and nature whilst providing tranquil breaks and
adventure opportunities.
For those of you who enjoy the star studded the Elan
Valley is also an International Dark Sky Park and is
recognised for its ‘exceptional starry skies and natural
nocturnal habitat’.
The Elan Links Heritage Lottery Project is working
tirelessly this year to prepare the full project details and
start the plan of works which encompasses collecting and
portraying natural and cultural heritage. With this project
there is much to get involved in so please keep an eye on
our website and social media accounts for more details
and events throughout the year.
As Wales celebrates the ‘Year of Legends’ we consider
the legends who have graced these valleys. Why not take

record your legendary excursions with us.
