Christopher L. Sperling, M.A., LMFT<br />

Chris is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the<br />

state of Texas. Chris earned a B.A. in Psychology from Rhode Island<br />

College and a M.A. in Counseling from St. Edwards University<br />

in Austin, Tx. Additionally Chris has spent 90 hours of study at the<br />

Theology of the Body Institute in Exeter, Penn, is an EMDR Trained<br />

Therapist and a Prepare Enrich Seminar Director.<br />

Chris is a founding member of the Intuitus Group, a gathering of<br />

<strong>Catholic</strong> professionals who provide relational and mental health support to the local community.<br />

A significant part of his private practice is devoted to <strong>Catholic</strong>s who are struggling with<br />

infidelity. Chris feels a special call to assist men in overcoming infidelity in the form of affairs,<br />

pornography, cybersex addictions and same sex attraction (SSA). Chris’ call to couples is to<br />

help them live out a healthy sexuality within the structure of a loving sacramental marriage.<br />

Chris is a regular presenter for and around the Diocese of Austin on topics such as Communication<br />

& Conflict Resolution, Marriage and Sexuality, Fidelity and the Purpose of Marriage.<br />

Chris is married to Dr. Rebekah Sperling and they have just adopted their infant daughter<br />

Elizabeth Rose.<br />

Dr. Christina Lynch continues to follow her passion by providing consultative and<br />

educational resources to create a working “tool box” for Bishops; priests; deacons;<br />
