Black Lives Matter<br />

Narrator: ​One morning Luke, Sarah, Kim, and Lilly were eating at the breakfast table.<br />

Sarah:​ Good Morning everyone.<br />

On the Television: ​Last night a black man named Matthew Smith was shot by a local<br />

police office. Charges are not being pressed on the officer.<br />

Foster Mom: ​I can’t believe that this police officer is getting away with killing that<br />

innocent man.Someone has to stand up and do something about this!<br />

Narrator: ​Sarah and Luke looked at the time and saw they had to go to school.<br />

Sarah & Luke​: WE’RE LATE!<br />

Luke: ​We have to get to school on time. I don’t want to miss gym!<br />

Narrator:​ They rushed out of the front door.<br />

Foster Mother:​ I love you!<br />

Narrator:​ When they were on their way to school they bumped into one of Sarah’s<br />

friend.<br />

Sarah’s friend:​ Did you see the news?<br />

Sarah:​Yeah. I feel bad for Frank.<br />

Narrator​: The man that got shot by the police officer was Frank’s father. Frank and his<br />

father had a strong relationship. You’d think he was even his best friend.<br />

Sarah & Luke:​ Hi Frank!<br />

Narrator: ​When they were at school, they said hi to Frank. He did not respond.
