ISO is an internationally recognized quality

International Safe Transit Association. The Compacted
Mops were tested and certified via ISTA Test Procedures.
FDA
Food and Drug Administration does not approve
products. The FDA sets regulations which require
compliance.
NSF Registration Guidelines for Proprietary
Substances and Nonfood Compounds:
Handwashing and sanitizing products (Category
Code E2): Combination of detergents-germicides (single
step preparations designed to combine hand washing
and sanitizing) will be considered for registration on the
basis of their ability to effectively clean the hands as
well as their germicidal equivalency to 50 ppm available
chlorine. The hands need not be washed with soap or
detergent prior to the use of such preparations. However,
the hands must be rinsed with potable water after the
use of the product and before handling food.
Hand sanitizing products (Category Code E3):
Products manufactured from those solutions described
in CFR Title 21, Section 178.1010, which are applicable
for the purpose may be used to sanitize the hands of
employees handling food products without a subsequent
rinse provided they are germicidally equivalent to
50 ppm available chlorine. Products shall not contain
perfumes leaving a residual odor on hands after usage.
These sanitizing solutions may be used only after
thoroughly washing hands with soap or detergent and
water, followed by rinsing with potable water. In many
instances, these hand sanitizers may be injected directly
into wash/rinse water.
ASTM
ASTM F-404-08 is an American Society for Testing and
Materials’ safety standard for evaluating a High Chair.
A “test dummy” that simulates a child of predetermined
size is strapped into the chair and various push, pull,
and racking tests are conducted on the chair and also
using the dummy to simulate forces required to remove
dummy, and to determine the safety aspects of ensuring
proper confinement within the chair without causing
harm to the child.
ASTM F-2285-04 is an American Society for Testing
and Materials’ safety performance specification that
establishes performance requirements, test methods, and
labeling requirements to minimize the hazards to children
presented by Diaper Changing Tables for commercial use
with children up to 50 lbs.
ASTM 615 is an American Society for Testing and
Materials standard specification for Deformed and Plain
Carbon Steel. This specification covers deformed and
plain carbon steel bars for concrete reinforcement in cut
lengths and coils.
ASTM C150-07 is an ASTM standard specification for
Portland Cement, specifically Portland Cement Type 1, for
use when the special properties specified for any other
type are not required, and Portland Cement Type III, for
use when high early strength is desired.
ADA
n The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits
discrimination and ensures equal opportunity for
persons with disabilities in employment, state and
local government services, public accommodations,
commercial facilities, and transportation
n Rubbermaid Commercial Products refuse containers
need to comply with the ADA regulation; as long
as “access openings” for containers are below 48",
containers are compliant to ADA regulations
n All Decorative Waste products comply with ADA Reach
Range Requirements, except for step can models; all
Decorative Waste wall mount models comply with
ADA Reach Range Requirements, dependant upon
height placement within the mandated "Reach Range"
CE
The CE marking (an acronym for the French “Conformite
Europeenne”) certifies that a product has met EU health,
safety, and environmental requirements, which ensure
consumer safety. Manufacturers in the European Union
(EU) and abroad must meet CE marking requirements
where applicable in order to market their products in
Europe.
CSFM
California State Fire Marshal listing is obtained for
various types of containers once tested (by independent
testing laboratories) against specific criteria. Following
our receipt of UL and/or FM approval for those items,
the results were submitted/accepted by California. The
State of California is generally regarded to have the most
stringent fire codes of all the United States. For an annual
fee (every June 30th) the CSFM listings are updated.
Decorative Waste products that are UL Listed/FM
Approved Fire-Safe/Self-Extinguishing and UL Classified
are listed by the California State Fire Marshal pursuant to
section 13144.1 of the California Health and Safety Code.

CSFM
Factory Mutual is an independent testing agency whose
approvals are based on Standard 6921 Combustible
Waste Containers. Standard 6921 is performance
criteria for containers with covers (lids) and their ability
to withstand internal fires, maintain a certain range
of stability, if dumped, and stay intact over a wide
temperature range. Standard 6920 is performance
criteria for Oily Waste Containers.
