The MEDPOR Orbital Rim Onlay Implants are<br />

designed to support the lower eyelid and lateral<br />

canthus in patients who have inadequate<br />

support due to congenital variation or changes<br />

with aging. The implant augments the inferior<br />

and lateral orbital rims and moderately<br />

increases the anterior rim projection. This<br />

mimics the normal orbital rim anatomy and<br />

provides support to the eyelid and canthal<br />

structures.<br />

The MEDPOR Midface Contour Implant is<br />

designed to aid in rejuvenation of the midface.<br />

The broad surface area allows for support of<br />

overlying soft tissues and a smooth transition<br />

between the implant and underlying bone. The<br />

shell-type design of the implant may be used to<br />

address a number of different midfacial<br />

deformities by allowing the surgeon to carve<br />

portions of the implant most appropriate for<br />

each patient.<br />

The MEDPOR Midface Contour Implant is<br />

packaged with a sterile silicone template.<br />

MIDFACE RIM<br />

The MEDPOR Midface Rim is designed to<br />

augment areas of bony concavities of the<br />

midface, including the inferior orbital rim and<br />

malar. When positioned in the hollow under the<br />

eye, the MEDPOR Midface Rim Implant aids in<br />

restoring the natural convexity of the lower<br />

eyelids and cheeks. The implant provides an<br />

excellent working contour for patients with<br />

orbital rim recession and mild mid-face<br />

hypoplasia. The medial area of the implant may<br />

be carved as necessary or utilized in its entirety<br />

to augment a tear trough depression.<br />
