Pro Contests<br />
Street League <strong>Skateboard</strong>ing, also known<br />
as, SLS, is an international competitive series in<br />
skateboarding. Created/Founded by legend Rob<br />
Dyrdek in 2010, SLS became <strong>the</strong> contest with <strong>the</strong><br />
largest monetary prize. The first ever-professional<br />
league contest is competed by SLS pros and picks.<br />
The first event of 2017 is from May 20-21 at<br />
<strong>the</strong> Skate Agora BDN Barcelona in Badalona, Spain.<br />
California Skateparks designed and constructed <strong>the</strong><br />
Skate Agora BDN Barcelona in 2015 to hold <strong>the</strong> Pro<br />
Open events and for <strong>the</strong> public to skate. This event<br />
is labeled as an International <strong>Skateboard</strong> Federation<br />
(ISF) world qualifier contest. 30 non SLS pros from<br />
around <strong>the</strong> world are invited to skate Day 1 of <strong>the</strong><br />
Pro Open and will compete for <strong>the</strong> top 2 spots to be<br />
added to <strong>the</strong> SLS roster and advance to Day 2. The 2<br />
qualifying skaters from Day 1 will compete against<br />
current SLS pros and picks on Day 2 for a prize value<br />
more than $150,000.
