GUNNISON
This will be the 12th time that RTR has
stormed into this town dubbed the “Base
Camp of the Rocky Mountains,” and boy
are they excited to see us again! Following
a gorgeous ride over Cerro Summit, past
the Blue Mesa Reservoir, and through the
Curecanti National Recreation Area, we
will call the Gunnison Middle School our
home for the night—but not before we get
to spend a boot-stompin’ good time out at
the I-Bar Ranch, home to some of the most
classic music performances that Gunnison
has ever seen, in a truly wonderful riverside
setting. Shuttles will be running folks out
to the ranch just 10 minutes away all day to
enjoy the food and fun!

SALIDA
Congratulations! You made it! And Salida,
(who will be hosting Ride The Rockies for
a record 16th time!) is ready to celebrate
your accomplishment! After a screaming
downhill finish to this epic 7-day ride, you
will be treated to a Finish Line Festival
full of food, beer (of course), an expo of
awesome proportions, music, and even a
team of aerial acrobats! Things will wrap up
with our Closing Ceremonies at 3pm, but
don’t let that stop you from continuing the
fun in Salida—RTR’s finish also happens to
correspond with Salida’s famous FIBArk
Whitewater Festival downtown and along
the Arkansas River. Head over after the
Closing Ceremonies to catch some of the
fun, and stay in town another day if you
can! You owe it to yourself!
