JOINT PROGRAM:
FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES
ISRAEL STUDIES (SPRING SEMESTER)
The courses offer insights into different major topics which present a broad
perspective of Zionism and Israeli politics and society. Each course stands by
its own. Still, there are several salient clusters of interrelated courses which
deal with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; religion and society; and Israeli
identity. Moreover, jointly the courses expose students to the developments
of the Israeli society over time. Tackling Israel from different angles makes
this program suitable for students from numerous disciplines in both the
humanities and the social sciences.
