Mr. Malonzo is a Certified Professional in Supply<br />

Mr. Villegas, 42, Filipino, was appointed by<br />
the Board in October 2009. He is also a Vice<br />
President of First Gen Corporation, First Luzon<br />
Geothermal, Green Core Geothermal Inc.,<br />
Bacman Geothermal Inc., and EDC Burgos Wind<br />
Power Corporation. He is in charge of the various<br />
growth initiatives in geothermal, solar, and wind.<br />
In First Gen, he worked on both greenfield<br />
projects and acquisitions involving natural<br />
gas and coal technologies. He is the Treasurer<br />
and Director of the Wind Energy Developers<br />
Association of the Philippines and also serves<br />
as the Director of the National Geothermal<br />
Association of the Philippines. Prior to joining<br />
First Gen, he worked with the Treasury Group of<br />
PHINMA, Inc. from 1994 to 1996.<br />
Mr. Villegas has a Masters in Business<br />
Management from AIM (1998). He graduated<br />
with an AB in Management Economics degree<br />
from the Ateneo de Manila University (1993).<br />

ARIEL ARMAN V. LAPUS<br />

Mr. Lapus, 45, Filipino, was appointed by the<br />
Board in March 2012 to oversee EDC’s business<br />
development efforts in Latin America. He is<br />
based in Santiago, Chile, and supervises the EDC<br />
organizations in both Chile and Peru. He sits in<br />
the boards of directors of all the EDC companies<br />
in Chile and Peru.<br />
Mr. Lapus is also a Vice President in First Gen<br />
Corporation where he headed the Power<br />
Marketing and Trading Group from November<br />
2009 until his secondment to EDC in March<br />
2012. Prior to joining First Gen Corporation, he<br />
was Executive Vice President of Global Business<br />
Power Corporation and Vice President of Mirant<br />
Philippines Corporation.<br />
Mr. Lapus graduated with a Bachelor of Science<br />
degree in Business Management from the Ateneo<br />
de Manila University (1990) and has a Master in<br />
Business Management (MBM) degree from the<br />
Asian Institute of Management (1997).<br />

Mr. Recio, 57, Filipino, has been with the<br />
Company since 1981. He was appointed to<br />
his current position in January 2007 but has<br />
performed his current duties since December<br />
2006. He started with the company as a Planning<br />
Engineer in 1981 and has since held various<br />
positions in the Planning & Control Division. He<br />
was <strong>Corporate</strong> Planning Manager from 1993 to<br />
2006.<br />
Mr. Recio obtained a BS in Management<br />
Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila<br />
University. He completed the Management<br />

Mr. Avante, 40, Filipino, was appointed by the<br />
Board as Vice President in March 2011 and as<br />
Compliance Officer effective March <strong>2014</strong>. He is<br />
also a Vice President in First Gen Corporation<br />
and was a member of the Board of Trustees of<br />
the CFA Society of the Philippines from 2010 -<br />
2013. Prior to joining the Lopez Group in 1998,<br />
Mr. Avante worked as Senior Audit-In-charge at<br />
SyCip, Gorres, Velayo &. Co.<br />
Mr. Avante has Masters in Business Administration<br />
(2000) and Masters of Science in Computational<br />
Finance (2003), both obtained from the Graduate<br />
School of Business – De La Salle University, and a<br />
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from<br />
De La Salle University (1994). Mr. Avante placed<br />
1st in the May 1995 Certified Public Accountants<br />
board examination. He is also a CFA<br />

International Inc., Covanta Power International<br />
Holdings Inc., and Ogden Energy Philippine<br />
Holdings Inc.<br />
He has 30 years of EPC and O&M experience<br />
coupled with comprehensive expertise<br />
encompassing asset management and O&M of<br />
power plant and energy facilities. Experienced<br />
in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine, Coal, Diesel,<br />
Waste to Energy and Geothermal power stations.<br />
Experienced in Project and O&M Management<br />
of diverse international owners and in the<br />
management and direction of both internal and<br />
external EPC & O&M contractors on projects<br />
of over 2,000MW at demanding and remote<br />
locations.<br />
Worked globally in various capacities and key<br />
cross-functional roles driven by his ability and<br />
reputation to consistently meet the expectations<br />
of his peers and stakeholders in complex and<br />
time sensitive energy projects. Past experience in<br />
working with project proponents and in dealing<br />
with project agreements (in the context of EPC,<br />
Lenders, Shareholders, PPA, Fuel Supply/Energy<br />
Conversion, and O&M agreements) on both sides<br />
of the aisle manifested by his ability to put on<br />
different hats and take on multifaceted roles<br />
Mr. Camu graduated with a Bachelor of Science<br />
Degree in Electrical Engineering from Mapua<br />

with EDC since February 1980 and has held<br />

and Maintenance Supervisor, Production<br />
Superintendent, and Production Manager. He<br />
served as the Resident Manager of LGPF from<br />
2004 to 2005 and SNGP from 2006-2010, and as<br />
OIC Resident Manager of NNGPF from 2009 to<br />
2010.<br />
