Body care products can be displayed and sold with colorful and entirely
hand-made African Market Baskets, presented as a Gift Basket
Collection featuring scented and unscented Butter, Lotion, Scrub, Soak,
Breath Air and Lip Balm.
Made from river grass by local weavers in Bolgatanga, Ghana, each
durable basket is unique and one-of-a-kind. Baskets with leather handles
are wrapped in goat skin for comfort and durability. The leather is
naturally tanned using local seeds and red millet.

About the Brand
African Market Baskets is a small business located in Boulder, Colorado that works
closely with weavers to ensure fair conditions and wages, as well as high quality products.
It is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and Green America, and donates 10% of its
profits to Every Basket Helps, a non-profit working to alleviate poverty in northern Ghana.
Each basket comes with a hang tag with information about fair trade Bolga baskets as
well as a care card.
