The TECH pivot is a big advance in Giesse technology
- the perfect combination of modern
styling, robust construction and speed of installation.
The TECH pivot features a robust construction
in die-cast zamak for loads up to 120 kg when
installed on horizontal pivots and 100 kg on
vertical pivots. It is thus the ideal pivot for windows
makers making large-sized windows
with guaranteed safety.
The TECH pivot is designed for more than
25,000 open/close cycles - making it one of
the highest performance units currently available.
The TECH pivot is equipped with an adjustable
force setting to prevent the window being
slammed shut by sudden gusts of wind.
The open/close force setting can be adjusted
with a simple grub screw. And the unit's
rounded shape gives it a modern styling in line
with the most recent trends in de sign.

horizontal pivots and 60 kg on
vertical pivots, thus enabling the
windows maker to make largesized
installations with guaranteed

Design
The design of the TECH pivot is
unique among competing
products, since it employs the
rounded forms typical of diecasting,
without the sharp corners
and edges typical of products
machined from extruded aluminium
bar.

Durability to CEN/TS 13126-92004
The TECH pivot owes its great
robustness to the use of die-cast
zamak, and is designed to resist
more than 25,000 open/close
cycles, thus achieving the
maximum durability rating (5) of the
CEN/TS 13126-9:2004 technical
specification.
Locks open at 30°
The TECH pivot locks open at 30°.
This means that the window's
aperture is always limited, as a
security feature: the window
cannot be opened further without
holding down a button mounted on
the side of the pivot. The lock is
mounted on one of the two pivotes
in the installed pair.
Automatic lock at 180°
When the window is opened to
180° to clean the outer pane, the
TECH pivot automatically locks to
this position.
Simply press the button on the side
of the pivot to release the locking
mechanism and close the window.
Quick installation and mounting
The TECH pivot is quick and easy
to install to the frame profile, and
allows the window to be installed
even on site, thanks to its special
mounting plates.
Perimetrical locking Kit
The kit provides 3 locking points
for centre-hung windows (one on
handle side plus two on pivot
sides) and is suitable for both
horizontal and vertical centre-hung
windows.
