Presenters discussing on Needle and New Thread
On the set of the program Keep on Singing
NEW LIVE SUNDAY SERVICE
October 2016 saw the start of new live
broadcasts of Sunday services from
Resurrection Baptist Church in Beirut,
Lebanon. The church is located near
many Syrians and Iraqis who have fled the
violence in their countries. Recognizing
the many and deep needs of their refugee
neighbors, Pastor Hikmat Kashouh and his
congregation have opened their hearts and
doors to them. This broadcast provides a
testimony to the Arab world of Christian
love in action.
H2O FOR THIRSTY SOULS
H2O is an impactful new program in
the TEACH (Theological Education
for Arab Christians at Home) series.
Producer John Adly recognizes that just
as water is essential for physical growth,
so theological teaching is necessary for
spiritual growth. The program is based
on a theological curriculum with themes
such as “Building a Christian family” and
“Effective Christian leadership.”
HOLISTIC PROGRAM FOR
REFUGEES
In May 2016, a new weekly program
was launched called Medicine and Life. It
addresses the physical and psychological
needs of refugees and displaced people. It
provides expert advice on issues that affect
refugees; many are traumatized by war,
unable to access healthcare, and living in
conditions that present hygiene challenges.
The program demonstrates SAT-7’s
commitment to holistic programming that
ministers to our viewers’ needs in all areas
of their lives.
