2017 FIREFIGHTER
MEMORIAL
Local 5124 will be attending the 31st annual
IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial service on
September 16, 2017 in Colorado Springs,
CO. Among IAFF
brothers, family
members and loved
ones, Local 5124 will be
experiencing the
emotional remembrance
and dedication ceremony
of fellow IAFF brothers
which have been lost in
the line of duty.
Constructed in 1989, the
park serves as a
memorial for the men and
women of the IAFF who
have given the ultimate sacrifice - protecting
those they serve. Recently renovated,
2014-2015, the memorial has (unfortunately)
expanded to accomodate the names of the
professional firefighters and emergency
medical personnel who have been killed in the
line of duty.
fighters and paramedics who have given their
lives in the line of duty during the previous
year.
Tax deductible contributions to the IAFF
Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Foundation can
be made through the IAFF Charitable
Foundation, IAFF's 501(c)(3) Corporation.
