This course introduces the Letters and Sounds Phonics Progression
System used in Reception and KS1 to teach reading. It covers all
the letter sounds and other reading strategies to give learners the
confidence to encourage their child’s reading development.
Family Cooking focuses on healthy recipes and inexpensive
ingredients. Course can be themed around food for different
occasions, for example healthy lunchboxes or Christmas treats.
Introduces you to simple fingerspelling of the alphabet, how to greet
people who are deaf, numbers, BSL grammar and hobbies.
This course investigates elements of KS1 and 2 maths with a focus on
the teaching methods now used in schools. Good for developing the
skills of adults and children, with activities to try at home as a family.
