created by U.K based young LGBTQIA+ artists and their views and exploration on
gender, sexuality and identity aim of the exhibition is to create a space for authentic
expression, bring awareness to diverse gender identities and shine a light on the
perspectives of young LGBTQIA+ individuals growing up in today’s society.
Talking Genders is an international initiative conducted by Himherandit
Productions and is part of a 6 Year performance project titled The Gender House.
The Gender House was ignited in 2013 with the aim to give voice to the marginalized
and promoting diversity while challenging and questioning our attitudes towards
modern day genders. It consists of different performances, community projects
and laboratories that map out progressive thematic content of gender.
Talking GENDERS first debut took place in Denmark, followed by France and with a
third edition to take place in London and is co-produced with And What? London
Queer Art Festival.
