Future Eagles tackle Morocco U-15 in friendly
The U-15 national team,
Future Eagles, will on
Wednesday and Thursday
play two international
friendly matches against their
Moroccan counterparts in
Rabat, Morocco.
Both teams will slug it
out at the National Football
Centre, Rabat, starting from
4pm on Wednesday, and
again clash at the same venue
on Thursday from mid-day.
The U-15 squad and their
Tennis star Venus
Williams’ fashion brand,
EleVen By Venus Williams,
has collaborated with leading
West Africa creative talent
agency, Temple Management
Company, as it expands its
retail business to Africa.
Founded in 2012 by
the American-born tennis

AITEO Cup: Clubs to share gate revenue
Organisers have announced that clubs in this year’s AITEO
Cup competition would share the proceeds from the turnstiles,
after the host Football Association would have deducted 20 per
cent of the gate revenue for organisation and logistics.
Deputy Chairman, Organising Committee, AITEO Cup, Shehu
Dikko told thenff.com, “Once the amount of gate revenue is
known, the state Football Association will deduct 20 per cent of
the sum, and the remaining will be equally split by the home and
away teams.
“This will apply to the Round of 64, Round of 32 and Round of
16 matches. In case of deadlock, matches in the Round of 16 will be
replayed at the home ground of the Team B. If there is replay, the
same sharing formula will obtain at the home ground of Team B.
“For the quarter-finals and semi-finals, there will be no sharing
as the fixtures are on home-and-away basis. Each team will take
what comes to it from its home ground.”
