Competence relates to a person’s ability to do their job and lead others. People rate a leaders 'Competence' by judging Intelligence, Capability and Authority. They will consider your<br />

qualifications and experience; how well you know the industry; how well you know the business; your perceived intelligence; appearance; your track record in leading people and getting results.<br />

B. TRUST<br />

Trust refers to a person's ability to gain the confidence of others to 'do what's right'. People will rate a leaders 'Trustworthiness' by judging their Professionalism, Honesty and Reliability. They<br />

will consider your integrity (do you do what you say you will do); by whether you follow and model company values; by how open and transparent you are with problems, issues and future<br />

developments; by whether you are authentic or just ‘act a part’, by how you behave at social events; by your manners (or lack of); by how you talk to and about others; by your language (e.g.<br />

polite vs swearing etc); and by how you react to criticism or bad news. How would people rate your Trust?<br />

C. LIKEABILITY<br />

Likeability refers to a person's ability to connect and get along with others. People will rate a leader’s ‘Likeability’ by judging their Humility, Empathy and People Skills. They will consider how<br />

much you seem to care about people and how well you get along with them; how much respect and empathy you show towards others; how approachable you are; how well you listen; and by<br />
