Dr. Jeffrey B. Michel, FACC
Dr. Jeffrey Michel serves
as the Interim Cardiology
Director at Scott & White
Medical Center-Temple
and the Assistant Dean
for International Education
through Texas A&M
Health Science Center. He
is an established and highly
dedicated physician with
over 20 years of experience
in cardiology. Dr. Michel
is dedicated to the field of
Cardiology and his passion
takes him all over the world
where he speaks to other
physicians and leaders.
Dr. Michel grew up in
Houston and obtained his
undergraduate degree from
Rice University where he
majored in biochemistry.
Dr. Michel earned his medical
degree from the University
of Texas Southwestern
in Dallas, and completed
his cardiology fellowship
program at Harvard Medical
School.
Dr. Michel has served the
cardiology profession in
diverse ways over his career.
His love for the cardiology
profession has led
to research and publication
of several articles, the
establishment of a private
practice and membership
in several professional societies.
In his spare time, Dr. Michel
likes to read, travel
and spend time with his
lovely wife Andrea.
