have to submit documentary proof<br />

Candidates with any other degree other than that mentioned above are not eligible to apply aga<strong>in</strong>st any of<br />

the aforementioned discipl<strong>in</strong>es, Eg: Specialisations such as Automation / Production / Mechatronics /<br />

Manufactur<strong>in</strong>g / Industrial / Electronics Engg. etc<br />

Candidates belong<strong>in</strong>g to General and OBC<br />

(Non- Creamy Layer/NCL) categories should<br />

have secured m<strong>in</strong>imum 60% marks <strong>in</strong> the<br />

qualify<strong>in</strong>g degree exam<strong>in</strong>ation.<br />

The applicable m<strong>in</strong>imum percentage of marks<br />

for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe<br />

(ST) /Persons With Disability (PWD)<br />

candidates is 50%.<br />

Candidates <strong>in</strong> the f<strong>in</strong>al year of eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g<br />

belong<strong>in</strong>g to General and OBC (NCL)<br />

categories should have secured m<strong>in</strong>imum<br />

60% marks( <strong>in</strong> aggregate upto last semester),<br />

relaxable to 50% for SC/ST/ PWD<br />

candidates.<br />

Percentage of marks would be the aggregate<br />

of all semesters irrespective of the norms /<br />

system be<strong>in</strong>g followed <strong>in</strong> the<br />

<strong>in</strong>stitute/university.<br />

Wherever CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or Letter<br />

Grade is awarded, its equivalent percentage<br />

of marks must be <strong>in</strong>dicated <strong>in</strong> the<br />

application form as per norms adopted by<br />

University / Institute.<br />

Round<strong>in</strong>g off percentage would not be<br />

allowed.<br />

If you have done diploma <strong>in</strong> mechanical<br />

eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g and jo<strong>in</strong>ed<br />

B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg) from second year,<br />

you need to enter the aggregate marks<br />

obta<strong>in</strong>ed from second year till your f<strong>in</strong>al<br />

semester.<br />
