In the ark…<br />
Be in the ark at the time of the flood<br />
Stay united with God and you will be delivered<br />
Call upon the name of the Lord and you won’t be lost<br />
Don’t concoct your own interpretations<br />
For you might get lost in your own labyrinthine mazes<br />
Concern yourself with Christ and not the Antichrist<br />
Be ready for take-off at all times<br />
For the surest citizenship is in Heaven<br />
Don’t delude yourself, we are all in the departure lounge<br />
Over whose acres walked those blessed feet<br />
Jerusalem<br />
The city of Shalem<br />
Jerusalem<br />
My Yerushalayim<br />
O’ Holy city,<br />
Holiest of all<br />
The land where Lord<br />
on the Mount of Olives<br />
I am saddened to behold<br />
Cut off the land from the living<br />
You finished the transgression<br />
And sealed up the vision<br />
O, beautiful Ir ha-Kodesh<br />
The land of my fathers<br />
The burning sun,the Calvary, the ululation<br />
no master wordsmith<br />
could capture in verbal form,<br />
no painter could accurately paint<br />
on canvas with oil colors so vivid<br />
and glorious as its past.
