The value of medical technologies is no
longer solely in the product itself. Medical
technologies today contribute to a seamless
convergence of products and services. This
presentation will provide the audience with an
overview of the role of medical technologies
in healthcare, how they can be adopted within
community pharmacies, and how both can
evolve together with digital innovation. This
presentation will also bring a particular focus
to e-health solutions and the value they bring
to patients, healthcare professionals and
the sustainable development of European
healthcare.

technologies in Europe,
in March 2011. She is
currently leading the Policy
team of the association. Valentina is now
an experienced governmental affairs
professional established in Brussels,
working with the EU institutions and trade
associations.
