What do I need to bring?<br />

River Landing has everything we need<br />

for Thanksgiving except for YOU!<br />

We would like you to bring a positive<br />

attitude, and be ready to be a part of a<br />

family!<br />

HERE ARE SOME ITEMS YOU CAN BRING!<br />

• Bathing Suits if you would like to go<br />

swimming<br />

• Golf Equipment if you have it, if not River<br />

Landing will provide<br />

• A BIG Appetite! You will be fed Breakfast<br />

and Thanksgiving Dinner!<br />

• Anything that makes you feel at HOME!<br />

• Pen and Paper to take down names and<br />

addresses of your host family!<br />

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS<br />

7:00 AM- Depart Beirut Memorial in Jacksonville in route back<br />

to River Landing in Wallace, NC. We will be escorted by the Duplin<br />

County Sheriff’s Office., and over 150 Motorcycle Riders!<br />

8:15 AM- Arrival at River Landing<br />

8:30 AM- Marines meeting Host Families and Breakfast<br />

Reception in the River Landing Grand Ballroom<br />

10:30 AM- Marines leave with host families.<br />

10:30 AM- 6:00 PM- Marines with Host Families and or<br />

participating in River Landing activities. All Marines will have the<br />

opportunity to take part in or enjoy; Golf, take golf lessons, play<br />

tennis, enjoy the Sports and Fitness Center, canoe and or kayak on<br />

the North East Cape Fear River, explore the Community, take part<br />

in scuba diving instructions in the indoor pool, or just bonding<br />

with their host families.<br />

6:30 PM- Marines Depart from the River Landing Sports and<br />

Fitness Center.<br />
